I’m saying goodbye to this skeleton. It was 18 inches tall and beautifully proportioned, no longer available (Tri-Ess Sciences, out of business). But it was made of soft plastic, and over the years it got brittle. First two of the finger digits broke off, then the collar bones crumbled and the shoulder girdle separated from the ribs. I tried supergluing the bits together, but it was a losing battle. Fissure cracks are visible in the long leg bones. Even if I could repair it, I don’t have room for it anymore.
