Adding yellow to the mix. Still a long way to go. I haven’t done much of this kind of color mixing, using scumbles instead of mixing the color on the palette.

Rachel and sons

Just finished a portrait commission. The clients posed for photos, and then sat while I did quick sketches to get familiar with their faces. I used both photos and sketches as reference while drawing the portrait.
